Most of the firms out there charge by the hour. This is how it has been from the beginning and for some reason continues to be this way. Howard Law has a different way of thinking.

 

Why Don’t Attorneys Share Their Fees?

If you’ve been shopping around for attorneys, you’ll notice the vast majority don’t share their fees or fee structure online. After calling, you might learn what they’re normal hourly rate, but you’ll have to take time out of your day to go meet with them at their office, explain your situation and then learn how much they’ll charge you.

 

Often, when you hire an attorney, you learn the hourly rate and then find yourself stuck with an extremely large bill mailed to you at the end of the month. While the invoice may give a description of the legal services performed, do you truly know what work was competed?

 

It’s Time For a Change - How We Charge

At Howard Law we prefer billing by the job, with a flat fee. This was you know exactly what you’re getting any exactly how much you’re paying; no more unexpected bills in the mail. While not all legal matters are the same, we do understand that sometimes an hourly rate is the only way to bill. Depending on the matter, the hourly rate at Howard Law is $175 an hour.
